I’ve just had an amazing opportunity to spend 3 days learning at ISTE 2016. This amazing educational technology conference was held in Denver this year. 15,000 + educators, vendors and students attended this massive international conference to spark our interest, plan our next steps and in many ways, just to have their minds blown.
The sheer number of intriguing sessions to attend, vendors to visit, projects to learn from and educators to connect with is more than a little overwhelming. Although I picked many amazing sessions to extend and refine my thinking, to challenge my skills and to make me reflect on my journey as a connected educator, there were literally a hundred more things I missed.
I was going to blog my experience each day, but was so overwhelmed I didn’t ‘know where to start. So this is where I chose to begin. Now that I have the why out of the way, I hope to spend a few minutes each day choosing one interesting tidbit I learned to reflect upon and plan for next steps.
Hopefully as I continue to learn and share, I’m able to share some of these interesting tidbits I’ve learned with you too! Here’s to my summer of PD, planning and goal setting!
