As part of my position I have the opportunity to be involved in a lot of Professional Development. This professional development comes in many forms and from many ends of the spectrum from learning to leading. One of my favorite things about Professional Development is the promise of change and improvement of my own practice, as well as the excitement to inspire, motivate and impact others.
Today I had the chance to hear Shelly Terrell speak about the importance of modeling for students the possibilities of technology, the potential of technology, responsible use of technology and the purpose of technology. As teachers, it is important for us to challenge ourselves, to be curious and to empower students.
Shelly has created the 30 Goals Challenge that I intend to check out, these 30 goals are a great way to reenergize your personal learning, to reinvent and revitalize your practice. If you are looking for a simple way to improve your use of technology, to personalize your PD or to impact your teaching practice, I suggest checking it out at www.30goals.com
